How to verify a refill
Compare the drug name, salt form, strength and NDC on the new bottle with the old one. Ask the pharmacist if any line differs. The FDA drug shortages database sometimes explains supply-driven switches.
Multiple manufacturers may market hydroxyzine hydrochloride or pamoate products. Listings on this site are educational pointers to help you match a bottle label with publicly available DailyMed entries. They are not endorsements and do not imply therapeutic equivalence decisions.
Ask your pharmacist which manufacturer supplied your fill if you need to look up the matching label set.
